Dentist Minerva focuses on the entire family. Children are therefore very welcome in our practice. Preventing cavities on a young age is the best investment for great teeth in the future. Because of this we advise to take your child every six months to the practice for a cleaning and check-up.
We recommend bringing your child with you to the dentist from age two and up. This is a good way to get used to the dentist. It is important that we prevent problems from a young age, because this avoids curative treatments. Appointments with the hygienist are also very helpful because they are usually playfully and the children can learn how to brush but most importantly, that going to the dentist can be fun!
After the hygiene appointments a dentist will do a check-up and will look for general dental aspect, need of braces in the future, fluoride treatment etc. When your child needs treatment this will be done by a child friendly dentist who has the patience and know how to treat children.
The goal at dentist Minerva is to prevent curative treatments. The less cavities will form, the less problems for the future. Of course we provide all the curative treatments like fillings, sealants, fluoride treatments and orthodontic care. But we’d rather prevent this.
